Yamaha R1 2003 - Complete Package - Road and Track in Ruislip, Greater London for sale

What can i say, this is a totally awesome machine. Bullet proof engine, bought it with 30000 miles on it in 2010 i think. been the perfect partner since. used on the road, commuting, fun riding, and then started using her on track day too. absolutely amazing. It has power commander, braided hoses (after a scare at jerez with the old rubber hoses in 35 degree heat). i honestly cannot say enough about this machine. i have had so much fun on it and never let me down, when other bikes were braking down this one keeps going (you can actually see a few with this mileage now on Greatbritainlisted which is telling). For a bike with 40K thousand miles the condition is impressive (see pictures - paint coming off engine like all others but no real corrosion that i can spot), great build. But i have only really been using it a few times a year recently mainly leading up to an annual euro track day which is all i get with 2 kids these days. i have always serviced her once a year before the track day. but has spent most of the time unused and with new arrival last year been over a year since i took her to a track day so time to go. it has 41K miles and been used so not perfect. but as you see from the pictures it still looks great. so what am i selling: The whole thing. you want to get going on track days this is it. Road bike with V5, bumps scratches (main thing is low side i had with road bike with scratched body panels and crash bung see pictures (not even rear exhaust took any damage despite guard - low side was over 4 years) and all but also good condition, wheels, engine and most other non cosmetic things. My spare track days wheels front and rear with brake disks (worth at least 300 without tyres second hand) The Dunlop Slick tyres on the track day wheels, at least another track day left in them plenty of tread additional pictures showing wear available (tyres new cost 240 pounds) Full track day fairings (never dropped in them - only thing i flag is i tightened them too much first time to cracks around 2 of the fasteners never been problem) Paddock Stands Titanium straight through exhaust and end can Power Commander dynojet tested at 141 back wheel! yes back wheel! This is either for someone who knows how good the bike is and wants to nurture her and build on her, or the novice looking for the perfect starter pack for the track whilst having fun on the road. The one thing that i have noticed having given her spring clean is the left front fork seal needs doing. So expect to spend about 80 to 100 on getting that done at very least. This bike is priced to sell in its condition and is great for the whole package. It is sold AS IS you are welcome to come and see her for yourself. If you have any questions let me know.
